The Best Connection are looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to join our client at a cable manufacturing facility. As a Factory Operative, you'll play a vital role in the production and quality control of electrical and industrial cables used in various sectors.
Working hours: 06:00 – 18:00 Day shift
18:00 – 06:00 Night shift
(4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off basis)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery used in cable production (e.g. extruders, winders, cutters)
Assist with material handling, loading/unloading reels and spools
Conduct visual inspections for quality assurance
Follow health & safety procedures at all times
Record production data and report any issues to supervisors
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Requirements:
Previous factory or manufacturing experience preferred (not essential as training is provided)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
Willingness to work shifts or flexible hours
