The Best Connection is recruiting for a Shop Assistant for our Wolverhampton based client.

Working hours are 08:00 till 16:00 Monday to Friday (Saturdays may be required)

Pay Rate - £12.71

As a Shop Assistant your duties will include:

• Serving food products to customers and providing excellent customer service
• Operating the cash register and processing card/cash payments
• Assisting with stock control, replenishment and product displays
• Answering customer enquiries both in person and over the phone
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented shop environment
• Using IT systems for sales, stock management and general administration
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day shop operations

This is a long-term position.

Requirements:

• Strong IT skills and confidence using computer systems
• Previous cash handling and cash register/till experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and a friendly, professional manner
