Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join their team and support the day-to-day operations of their shop. This is a temp-to-perm position, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and secure a permanent role. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a welcoming environment for customers, assisting with various tasks that contribute to a seamless shopping experience. You will be responsible for helping with sales, handling cash transactions, managing stock levels, and ensuring that the shop is well-organised and visually appealing. Your strong communication skills and customer service orientation will help foster positive relationships with customers, encouraging repeat visits and loyalty to the shop.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily operations of the shop, ensuring effective processes and customer satisfaction
• Support sales efforts and help maximise the volume of products sold 📈
• Handle cash management and assist with stock control and accurate reporting 🧾
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing enquiries and assisting customers with their needs 🤝
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive shopping environment

💰 Salary:

• £23,400.00 pro rata

⏰ Hours of Work:

• 22.5 hours per week, over 3 days, including Saturday and Sunday on a rota basis
