Our client, requires an Accounts Administrator. Our client offers Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 5.00 pm  £28,000 per annum. Duties include processing supplier invoices, matching purchase invoices to purchase orders, assisting with general accounting administration and responding to finance-related queries.

Tasks include:

  • Processing supplier invoices

  • Processing sales invoices

  • Supporting in recording financial transactions in our accounting system, Xero and job management software, SIMPRO

  • Assisting in maintaining the general ledger and reconciling accounts.

  • Handling general accounting administration.

  • Responding to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Filing, Scanning and Maintaining spreadsheets for invoices and approvals.

  • Managing Account Inbox.

Key skills & Experiences:

  • Basic Outlook skills

  • Basic Excel knowledge

  • Previous experience working in an Accounts Assistant/Administration role is essential

  • Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature

  • Organised and can work to deadlines

  • Basic Knowledge of Xero would be beneficial

  • Basic Knowledge of Simpro would be beneficial

  • Knowledge of CIS would be beneficial but not essential
