The Best Connection are working with our client based in South Shields. They are a leading provider of vehicle movement services for the automotive sector. Due to increased levels of business they now require experienced Motor Mechanics.
The roles have an immediate start date for the right candidate and are being offered on a temporary basis. There is an opportunity for these roles to become permanent for the right candidates.
Duties will include:
- Diagnosing vehicle faults manually and with the aid of software and digital tools
- Repairing and replacing faulty vehicle parts
- Performing test drivers to check repairs
- Installing and fitting new vehicle accessories
The candidate:
- Will have previous experience within a motor dealership of similar.
Hours of work
- Monday – Friday
- 7.00am – 3.30pm
- Overtime available at weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
Pay rate:
- Basic: £14.00 per hour
- Overtime Saturday: £21.00 per hour
- Overtime Sunday: £28.00 per hour
- Pay review pending for April 2024.
