We are seeking an experienced XYZ Lathe Turner/Miller to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong machining skills and a solid understanding of XYZ lathes and milling machines. This role offers competitive pay, with overtime opportunities available without restrictions.
- Salary-: £15.00ph - £19.00 ph (based on experience)
- Hours of Work-: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 16:30pm
- Overtime-: Unlimited overtime available
- Location-: Birmingham
This is an ongoing position leading to a full time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate XYZ lathe and milling machines to produce precision components
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy
- Set up machines and conduct regular checks to maintain high-quality production standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of products
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in operating XYZ lathes and milling machines
- Strong understanding of machining techniques and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience with setting up and programming CNC machines is advantageous but not essential
