We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy client of ours in Whitstable. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in warehouse operations, who is eager to lead a team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday is 07:30- 16:30.

Friday is 07:30- 13:30.

Desirable but not essential: Counterbalance and Flexi forklift license.

Salary is negotiable between £35,000- £37,500

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.
• Coordinate and oversee the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
• Ensure all warehouse processes are followed, including stock control, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance and training as required.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Perform regular checks on equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations and report any issues or improvements needed.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with some leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Desirable but not essential: Counterbalance and Flexi forklift license.
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
