Warehouse operative(s) Required! Starts within 10 days

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for warehouse operative(s) to work for one of our clients based at Manchester Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global aviation catering supply company with full training provided! 

• Pay: £11.44ph days £13.73 Nights
• Hours: 8 hour shifts
• Shift: Are you able to commit to working evenings + weekends and potentially nights as part of a shift rota?
• Location: Manchester Airport 
• Duration: Ongoing, Temp to Perm Opportunities

Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following: 

• Be willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!) 
• Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!) 
• Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc) 
• Be able to provide a full 5-year address history  
• Be willing to attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us!) 

Role of warehouse operative at Manchester Airport:  ​

• Be responsible for stripping down bars and duty free trolleys that are returned from the aircraft
• Checking the returns against an inventory and transferring stock back to storage areas
• Be tasked with restocking the trolleys for the next flight by locating the stock in our Bonded Warehouse
• Liaise with our drivers to facilitate the transfer of equipment to and from our warehouse to their vehicles
• Work as part of a team

Requirements of warehouse operative Manchester Airport: 

• Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken. 
• Adhere to clean as you go standard & inflight services security compliance. 
• Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.
