The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Crewe.
The job will involve:
- Organising and palletising stock ready for storage and dispatch
- Carrying out basic repairs and modifications of equipment
- Recycling cardboard and plastic waste on-site, using a cardboard bailer machine.
- Working as part of a team to meet targets
- Loading and unloading wagons using PPT
- Heavy lifting will be required
- In order to be considered for this role you must have a high level of English (reading, writing and spoken) in order to pass the onsite induction process
Shift patterns:
- 2 x 30 min breaks, 1 paid, 1 unpaid
- Working 5/7 days per week, days, afternoons, nights shifts, subject to business requirements
Shifts available are as followed:
- Day shift: 6am-2pm/8am-4pm/10am-6pm: £12.31 per hour
- Noon shift: 2pm-10pm: £13.01 per hour
- Night shift: 10pm-6am: £13.71 per hour
Any hours worked over 37.5 hours, will be paid at Time and a third
Any hours worked on bank holidays will be paid at Time and a half
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to work a mixture of all 3 shifts (Days, noons and nights) subject to business needs.
After 13 weeks consecutive work you will be offered a Perm contract, subject to suitability. This will also involve in-house PPT training.
