The Best Connection are seeking a reliable and motivated Hygiene Operative to join our client's operations team.

In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment. Working under the direction of the Warehouse Operations or Shift Leader, you'll ensure all areas - from loading bays to car parks - are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all warehouse areas, including floors, fixtures, and fittings.

• Promptly clean up spillages and ensure work areas remain hazard-free.

• Remove and dispose of waste packaging and materials to minimise trip hazards.

• Keep 'clean as you go' stations stocked with essential supplies (e.g. tissue rolls, hazard signs).

• Ensure fire exits and walkways remain clear of obstructions and litter.

• Empty recycling stations and transfer materials to designated recycling areas.

• Safely and confidently operate cleaning equipment and machinery.

• Maintain hygiene and health & safety standards at all times in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.

• Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Ability to follow internal procedures, safety standards, and company conduct guidelines.

• Flexible approach to work and willingness to assist with additional warehouse duties (excluding picking) as required.
