The Best Connection Sheffield are excited to be recruiting positions for VNA DRIVERS, to start work for our well established client, ALLIANCE AUTOMOTIVE: FPS NDC ROTHERHAM, a leading provider in automotive component distribution. We are looking for hard working and dedicated VNA DRIVERS to join their team to maintain a smooth and efficient operation. If you're passionate about working in a fast-paced environment, this is the job for you!

Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: S66, Rotherham
Contract Type: Temporary, with permanent opportunities for good performance after 12 weeks
Hours: 06:00-18:00
Shift: 4 On 4 Off

As a VNA Driver, you will be responsible for operating VNA trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will assist with the safe and efficient movement of stock within our narrow-aisle racking systems. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that products are delivered on time and stored securely.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift to transport goods within the warehouse
• Load and unload goods into the designated areas
• Ensure proper stacking and safe storage of inventory
• Maintain an organised and clean work environment
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on VNA equipment
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory management
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Skills and Experience

• Experience in operating MHE 
• Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-pace environment
• Comfortable working at height
• Strong attention to detail
• Cood communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting when required
