The Best Connection are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester for a family run client based in Newton Aycliffe. This vacancy is to work with their fun and hard working team in a very busy service, repair, and MOT centre.

This role is temporary initially but has the view to go permanent for the right candidate. The company will consider candidates who are looking for a permanent role only.

Duties include:

• Servicing light vehicles
• Vehicle diagnostics & MOT's
• General repairs
• General Maintenance

The candidate:

• Previous experience as a vehicle technician preferred
• Will have own tools
• MOT Tester qualification is prefereable but not essential

Hours of work:

• Working week of Monday to Friday
• Monday to Thursday: 8.15am to 5.30pm
• Friday: 8.15am to 2.15pm
• 40 hour working week

Pay Rate:

• £15.65 per hour
• Equivalent of up to £35,000 p.a. for a 40 hour working week
