Our client a busy distribution site based in Hatfield manages the distribution of cash and carry supplies to prisons and are looking to strengthen its busy delivery team. They are looking for Van Drivers to help assist the operational needs of the business Monday to Friday. Manual handling will be involved. Ongoing work with possible permanent role for the successful candidate. Must have delivery driving experience and a DBS will be carried out as well.

Main duties will include:

• Managing the delivery process from site to prisons, including paperwork signed off from deliveries
• Average drops of 4 but timed deliveries and collections involved
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure, with vehicle checks completed
• Positive and polite manner 
• Experience driving sprinter vans 
• Loading and Unloading - max 20 kg totes

Shifts:

• Monday - Friday,
• Start time varies between 6am-7am 
• 45 hour week
• 9 hours a day guarantee

Hourly pay Rates:

• £11.77 PAYE for hours worked Monday - Friday before 45 hours
• £16.58 PAYE for hours worked Monday - Friday after 45 hours
• £16.58 PAYE for hours worked Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday
