The Best Connection are currently looking for Cat B Van drivers for work in South Ockendon.  

In this position, you will be tasked with the delivery and collection of clothing goods from the depot in South Ockendon to stores in the South East, Essex and London areas. This can be both long distance and more local locations with drops ranging from 5-6 drops per day. The driver will be responsible for both loading the vehicle in the warehouse, with assistance from warehouse staff, and unloading at sites, so expect some minor warehouse duties between drops.   

Start times between 05:45am – 10:00am. Minimum working hours of 5 hours per day with overtime available. The client operates a 7-day delivery, but you can expect a 5-day working week, so weekend work and flexibility is required.

Standard basic pay rate for this position £13.55 per hour PAYE. Overtime rate of £20.33 per hour available after 45 hours and on Bank Holidays.

To be eligible for this position you must hold:   

• Cat B Licence with a maximum of 6 points
• Previous commercial driving experience 
• London driving experience
• Delivery experience preferable
• Customer facing skills
