The Best Connection are currently seeking experienced Upholsterers, to work at our client, based in Sutton in Ashfield!!
We are seeking candidates with previous experience, whether that be a frame assembling role, joinery/timber based - permanent opportunities available!
Duties of the role include:
- Upholstering furniture pieces, including sofas and chairs, to the highest standards.
- Reading and interpreting design specifications and blueprints.
- Cutting, sewing, and fitting fabric or leather coverings.
- Assembling and attaching padding, springs, and other materials to furniture frames.
- Ensuring quality control and attention to detail in all aspects of upholstery work.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in upholstery or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- The ability to read and interpret design specifications and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using upholstery tools and equipment.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working hours:
- 0730-1630 (Monday to Friday)
- Overtime available daily
