The Best Connection is looking for a Transport Planner in Skegness
Shift pattern:
4 on 4 off
7am to 5pm
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Plan 15+ vehicles daily.
- Strategically plan vehicle routes to minimize running costs and maximize revenue.
- Work proactively with the planning team to avoid delivery delays.
- Collaborate with fellow planners to efficiently service our existing client base.
- Communicate with drivers, service providers, and the Transport Manager to resolve issues like breakdowns.
- Coordinate with the Transport Manager regarding regular vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Work closely with Site Managers to exchange key information, including estimated arrival times (ETAs).
