We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can take the lead on daily transport operations, manage a fleet of electric vehicles and trailers, and help drive performance improvements through data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport Operations & Fleet Management
  • Coordinate daily logistics and transport activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Monitor vehicle and trailer conditions, ensuring timely maintenance to reduce route disruptions
  • Oversee vehicle charging schedules and trailer safety for driver operability
  • Performance Monitoring & Improvement
  • Use logistics management software for dispatching, tracking, and monitoring
  • Analyse data to identify and implement operational improvements
  • Driver Management & Development
  • Train and manage drivers, ensuring compliance with safety and transport regulations
  • Conduct onboarding sessions focused on safety and compliance
  • Manage scheduling, route allocation, and act as the main driver liaison
  • Technology & Systems Integration
  • Use digital tools to track driver availability and fleet status in real-time
  • Encourage use of technology to enhance operational visibility and accuracy
  • Regulatory Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure full compliance with transport laws and regulations
  • Implement safety protocols and manage vehicle maintenance schedules
  • Stakeholder Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and external clients to support seamless logistics
  • Maintain clear communication with key stakeholders to support ongoing operations

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in logistics, transport operations, or a warehouse environment
  • Understanding of dispatching, route planning, and inventory workflows
  • Experience using transport or fleet management systems preferred
  • Comfortable operating warehouse equipment (certification a plus)
  • Physically capable of occasional lifting and moving of goods
  • Experience in a startup or dynamic work environment beneficial
