The Best Connection Goole is currently recruiting several Class 1 Tramping Drivers for their Client who is a well-established freight and logistics company based on the outskirts of Selby.

This will be a conventional tramping role starting on 7th October for a minimum of 1 month, possibly longer.

• Monday to Friday/Sat 4/5 nights out
• Monday to Friday £15.00 per hour
• Nights out £26.20 per each night out

The ideal candidates will have at least 6 months Class 1 driving experience and have no more than 3 points on their licence; however, our client may consider new passes.

Responsibilities include

• Safely drive a curtain side lorry to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
