The Best Connection are recruiting for a Production Operative/Telehandler for a position based in Bodmin

Pay Rate:

• £16.50​

​Shift Schedule:

• 8:30 - 5:00pm but must be flexible

​Job Description:
 

• General production operative is to operate agricultural and industrial machinery on a daily basis as part of various processing lines on a single agricultural site
• To be fully compliant with the operation and care of any mechanical and electrical equipment used in your duties
• To be fully compliant with the requirement of the business’ quality control system and safe working standards.
• Daily general maintenance and monitoring of machinery and vehicles where necessary and maintaining a clean and organised environment.
• You will be instructed and organised by the Production Manager (PM) on a daily basis. You will be required to operate various processing lines within the business, operating mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment
• You may also be required to undertake additional tasks or duties from time to time by the PM, as necessary, to meet the adaptable needs of the business. At times, this may be outside of the production operations, e.g., assisting in any work around the yard.
• Communicate and work closely with the Production Manager to prioritise weekly tasks
