The Best Connection are looking for a Storesperson for our client near Brough. This is initially a temporary position but with the intention of going permanent following a successful trial period.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a stores/warehouse environment with a keen eye for detail for goods in inspection. Have the ability to manual handle goods with a good attention to detail and ideally have a counterbalance, fork lift truck licence (in house licences will be considered).

Responsibilities:

Ensure goods are checked (Quality and Quality) and received into stock via the ERP system
Ability to manage stock at 97% accuracy (Actual to system quality) Measured via weekly perpetual stock counts
Maintain a well organised stores area, with goods clearly marked with part numbers
Ensure goods are correctly stored in appropriate storage media, in line with good practice and manufacturers recommendations/Instructions
Ensure stock is located correctly in the appropriate location for the item
Maintain timely delivery of kits to the production line, in line with the Production plan dates.

Pay and Benefits:

• Permanent position following a successful trial period
• Hours of work are 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday with an early finish of 12noon on a Friday
• 39 Hours a week
• 30 minutes unpaid break plus 2x10 minute paid breaks
• Free parking
• £25,000-£30,000 per annum subject to skills and experience
