Exciting Opportunity: Stores/Warehouse Operative in BB2

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 14:00

Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Stores/Warehouse Operative with experience in a similar environment. Ideally, you will have a forklift truck license and some MRO (Maintenance, Repairs, and Operations) experience. Computer literacy and the ability to conduct manual activities is essential.

Skills and Requirements:

• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual work.
• Attention to Detail: Methodical and able to follow instructions closely.
• Team Player: Work well within a team.
• Forklift Experience: Preferred but training will be provided.
• IT Skills: Proficient in data entry and inventory management.
• Spatial Thinking: Ability to visualize and organize for maximum efficiency.
• Driving Licence: Essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain meticulous records of warehouse contents and locations.
• Efficient Retrieval: Ensure rapid and efficient retrieval and shipment of goods.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols in handling heavy equipment and large packages.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of all items moved, shipped, or received.
• Space Optimization: Organize the warehouse for maximum space efficiency.
