The Best Connection Bedford are currently seeking Metal Saw Operatives for our prestigious client in the MK42 Area.

The working hours are 8:00am - 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and then 8:00am - 12:00pm Friday

Starting Pay rate for the role is £12.75 p/h

Responsibilities of the Saw Operative

• Operating CNC, Double mitre and semi automatic saws to cut to specific measurements and requirements
• Working with aluminium extrusions
• Liaising with Production Manager
• Some manual handling will be involved
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment 

Requirements of the Saw operative:

• Experience with Table saws, Double mitre, CNC and Semi-automatic saws
• Good basic numeracy
• Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
• Reading all measurements
• Ability to work under pressure when meeting deadlines
