The Best Connection are proudly seeking Retail Stock Operatives for an on-going temporary assignment at our world-renowned client in Knightsbridge, London.

This role will be working in a luxury department store, and assisting with the merchandising and distribution of garments for retail.

Responsibilities of the Stock Operative will include but not be limited to:

• Helping to take in and sort incoming deliveries
• Re-stocking shelves in the store
• Checking stock matches delivery forms
• Quantity and basic quality checking of incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Manually handling stock

Requirements of the Stock Operative:

• Ability to travel to the Knightsbridge area of central London independently
• Ability to work as part of a team and following instruction
• Good attention to detail
• Good level of numeracy and literacy
• Good work ethics
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

Rates of pay:

• £13.50 per hour rising to £13.90 per hour after 12 weeks of continuous service

Overtime rate: £ 20.25-£20.78 per hour after 37.5 weekly hours worked.

Hours of work:

Shifts operate on a rota basis, with any 5 days in a 7-day week being offered

Shift times can be 7:30am to 4pm, 8am to 4:30pm, and 12:30pm to 9pm
