Recycling Operative

Our client in Suffolk requires a Mobile Recycling Operative: who can cover multiple sites. Having your own transport is mandatory.

Our client offers:

• Monday to Friday (Days), 0845-1715 (1915 Thursday's) Based on a rolling rota
• £10.42 per hour.
• Your own transport is required
• You will earn £0.45 per mile for a car / £0.25 per mile for a motorbike
• On-going position.
• Potentional Full time jobs are available.

Responsibilities:

• To operate the Recycling Centre safely and efficiently and in line with company procedures and policies, Environmental Permit, Planning Permissions and Contract Specification.
• To assist the Recycling Team in delivering a safe and efficient Recycling Centre service.
• To ensure that the highest standard of customer care is maintained at all times
• Responsibility to deliver a high standard of customer service to the public by actively encouraging reuse and recycling as well as assisting the public with their waste disposal.
• Successful candidates will be required to be trained at some point to operate our Rubber Duck Plant & will attend a First Aid course.
• Reliable transport to be able to travel to any site on the contract to provide cover.
