Receptionist – Leading Facilities Management Company

We are hiring a Receptionist on behalf of a well-established and leading facilities management company. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and professional individual to join a dynamic team and make a positive first impression on visitors and clients.

Location: Central London
Pay Rate: £12.00 - £13.00 per hour
Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description

As a Receptionist, you will be the face of the company, delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth front desk operations. Your main duties will include:

  • Welcoming visitors, clients, and employees with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Managing incoming calls, directing them appropriately, and handling inquiries efficiently.
  • Ensuring the reception area is tidy, presentable, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Coordinating with various departments for scheduling meetings, booking rooms, and managing visitor access.
  • Managing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
  • Performing basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and maintain a calm, organized workspace.
  • Strong focus on accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional visitor experience.
  • Confident in using office equipment and software, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to manage time effectively.

 

This is full-time on-going position position, with a possibility of a permanent contract following a successful probation period.
