Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor ready to elevate your career? The Best Connection is seeking a talented individual to join their client  in Barrow in Furness. You will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of diverse projects, from tender stage to final account, ensuring seamless financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender Estimates: Skillfully prepare tender estimates for both large and small-scale projects.
• Cost Management: Update and manage the costing system for clear presentations.
• Client Negotiations: Liaise and negotiate with clients to agree on any variations.
• Site Visits: Conduct site visits to measure new tenders and quantities for ongoing work.
• Documentation Analysis: Assess project and tender documentation, report findings, and address omissions or information requirements to the team.
• Payment Applications: Handle monthly payment applications and settle differences.
• Team Coordination: Regularly liaise with project teams for smooth project execution.
• Client Interaction: Engage with client Quantity Surveyors and construction personnel on financial and contractual matters.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT Contracts is essential.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying and financial management of construction projects.
• Salary & Benefits:
• Competitive salary range: £60,000.00 - £80,000.00 per year (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
