Job Opportunity - Trimming / Semi-Skilled Labourer

The Best Connection Group Ltd are recruiting for a reliable and motivated Trimming / Semi-Skilled Labourer to join the team our client in Rochdale.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in workshop or factory environments who enjoys practical work and takes pride in producing quality results.

Main Duties:

• Trimming, grinding, and finishing moulded components to specification

• Safe use of abrasive wheels, angle grinders, and other hand and power tools

• Carrying out manual handling of products and materials

• Assisting with general production, assembly, and labouring tasks

• Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are met

• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workspace

• Following all Health & Safety and quality control procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, moulding, or production environment preferred

• Confident and competent using hand tools, power tools, and abrasive equipment

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

• Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude

• Able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Hours of Work:

• Mon - Wed: 8:00am - 4:30pm

• Thu: 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Fri: 7:00am - 3:00pm

• Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 40 hours

Pay Rates:

• Start: £12.65 per hour

• After 6 weeks: £12.95 per hour

• Permanent rate: £13.45 per hour

• + Overtime at time and a half
