**NIGHT SHIFT, TEMP 2 PERM** for a food production line leader required for our client based in Worcester, within walking distance from the City Centre. Our client is a well established food manufacturer with local roots. This is REGULAR, ON GOING WORK, with the POTENTIAL TO BECOME PERMANENT following a successful trial period. The site also benefits from free parking.
**Desirable candidate must have Line Leader / supervisory experience in production / manufacturing background**
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday 21:52 - 06:08
Rate of Pay:
- £16.70 per hour up to 40 hours
- £24.23 per hour after 40 hours
- £31.76 per hour for Bank Holidays
Duties will include:
- Day to day running of packaging line/area, encouraging performance.
- Organisation of staff on the line, duties & breaks etc.
- Ensuring compliance of quality, safety, PPE, site rules.
- Escalation of issues to engineering/QA/team leader.
- Day to day oversite of sauce supply.
- MII input and SAP duties
Experience and competencies required:
- To lead by example, driving a strong Safety and Quality culture on Site.
- To successful manage the day-to-day output of production line(s).
- Experienced problem solver during live production and to coach and develop Operators in problem solving.
- Collaborative working with the development of working relationships to easily escalate information to other departments (i.e., Maintenance Team, Team leader etc.)
- Day to day link to Process team & Kitchen’s product supply
- To train employees on processes and tasks using best practice methods.
