The Best Connection Group Limited are currently seeking a production assistant to join a unique manufacturing business in the Stoke-on-Trent area. If you are looking for progression in a well established manufacturing company and looking for a diverse role which will vary day to day then this could be the job for you!

The role is a Trainee Production Support Assistant which will be mainly working in an office based environment with some "hands on" tasks when support is needed in production. 

Your day to day tasks can include:

• Ordering raw materials and production supplies. Also ensuring raw materials are available and stock level is controlled.
• Morning walk around of  the production facility checking machinery, collecting samples to be processed in the laboratory. 
• Using a computer system to input production figures, creating production jobs and processing customer orders
• Supporting production activities across various departments within the site
• Assisting with ISO and HS&E requirements including auditing the site
• Training and organising production staff. supporting the day to day management of the colleagues

The shifts required to work are Monday - Thursday 08:00 -17:00 & 08:00-12:30 on Friday.

Full on the job training will be provided, however if you have any of the below experiences then please get in touch:

• Computer literate 
• Experience within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work unsupervised

This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate. Production / office based background would be preferred, however we will consider all applications.
