**FANTASTIC PERM OPPORTUNITY!** - Our client, one of the largest European manufacturers of electrical compression connectors requires a Press Setter / Operator to join their established and growing workforce.
The position is a genuine temp to perm opportunity following a successful trial period***
Duties of the role:
- Responsible for the setting and operation of power presses
- Producing Components to drawing tolerances and specifications
- Understand company objectives and strive to meet KPIs and metrics
- Utilise and adhere to specified tooling requirements, including jigs and fixtures
- To perform tool changes and amendments safely and in required setting times
- Working with the engineers to ensure the machines are run efficiently with optimum cycle times

Working hours (Rotating weekly):
- 06.00-14.00 Monday - Thursday, 06.00-12.00 Friday ( Days )
- 14.00-22.00 Monday - Thursday, 12.00-18.00 Friday ( Afternoon )
Rate of pay:
- £14.91 per hour ( Days / Inclusive of 7.5% shift allowance )
- £16.64 per hour ( Afternoon / Inclusive of 20% shift allowance )
Overtime:
- Time and a half per hour after 38 Hours Monday - Friday
- Time and a half per hour Saturdays
- Double time per hour Sundays
