The Best Connection Bedford are currently seeking PPT Operatives for our client based in MK42 to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods.
Pay rate: £12.51
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday 14.30 - 23.00hrs
Responsibilities of the PPT Operative
- Pick and pack products load/unload goods and the wrapping of the production lines
- Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirements.
- Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
- Stock integrity and quality checks.
- Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations.
- Load trailers with customer goods in timely manner
- Put away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
- Manual handling of products
- Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks. Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal.
Requirements of the PPT Operative
- Attention to detail.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Good accuracy and organisational skills.
- Good communication and team working skills
- PC literate. (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
- MHE - PPT Experience/licenses required
- Experience operating within a warehouse environment
