The Best Connection Bedford are currently seeking a Powder Coating Operative on a temporary to permanent basis for our established client in the MK42 (Kempston) Area. The company focuses on producing grilles and diffusers for the heating and ventilation industries.
This is a responsible role working with the other departments to deliver high quality products to our customers across the UK and beyond.
Pay rate and Shift Patterns:
- Pay Rate £13.50 per hour
- Working hours are 8:00am - 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am - 12:00pm Friday
Job responsibilities of Powder Coating Operative
- Preparation and powder coating of various aluminium products to a high class finish
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Keen attention to detail to ensure final specifications are completed correctly
- Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols as well as ensuring correct PPE is worn at all times
Requirements for Powder Coating Operative
- Experience of powder coating
- Able to work as part of a team
- Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure when meeting deadlines
- Must be physically fit as involves being on your feet and lifting metal products
