Due to a recent and ongoing expansion, our client, a global healthcare company that specialises in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition are looking to add to their dedicated, hard working and committed team.

Role duties:

  • Working on the Pick face candidates will be required to assemble batches as per batch documentation, complete all necessary paperwork and transfer materials into the Aseptic Services unit using the appropriate decontamination techniques
  • Working within the Aseptic services unit, you will be required to follow the company standard operational procedures
  • Post compounding, compounded product will be received and require documentation review to ensure that the product produced is to the required standard, label the product according to the defined procedure and complete any documentation according to the company Standard Operating Procedures
  • To ensure adherence to company policy / work instructions, and all matters pertaining to personnel and product safety

Main Accountabilities:

  • Assemble raw materials for batches in accordance with received Batch Documentation
  • Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the following days EM2400 Production
  • Transfer batches/BOM into Grade C when complete.
  • Working to a production plan deliver batches to the compounding schedule
  • Transfer raw materials for production into the compounding suite
  • To take responsibility to maintain production output through supporting continuous work flows
  • Label all batches that exit the compounding Suite in line with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure all materials and components are replenished in preparation for start up on the next shift
  • Carry out documentation duties required under good manufacturing practice
  • Ensure areas are maintained/cleaned in accordance with ‘good housekeeping’ practice and standard operating procedures
  • Compliance of company policies, legislative requirements include Financial, health and safety, cGMP, cGDP, Home office regulations, ISO Standards and HR related issues
  • Ensure the appropriate disposal of waste from the grade C area is in accordance with current procedures
  • Involvement in process improvement e.g. Quality/Efficiency improvements
  • Record and communicate any issues affecting quality or efficiency

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Ensure all batches and materials are transferred into the Aseptic services unit to ensure production occurs in line with the schedule
  • Accuracy of Right first time principle
  • Reliability of attendance/timekeeping
  • Completion of ALL written records
  • Training Compliance of ALL personnel (SOP’s)
  • Undertake training as requested satisfactory internal and external audit to maintain full accreditation

  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Energetic/flexible and adaptable
  • Computer literate

Experience and qualifications:

  • Aseptic or Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience ideal but not essential
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team to deliver a plan
  • Trained in manual handling procedures
  • A good understanding of cGMP requirements.
  • Verbal and written, communication & numerical skills

The working hours for these exciting opportunities are Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern that consists of 0700-1500 & 1500-2300 hours, with enhanced rates paid for overtime.
