The Best Connection are hiring for  Steel Operative for our well established client in Burntwood.

You will be working a permanent afternoon shift banding up steel coils. Once you are settled in the role, they may also want to train you up on operating overhead cranes to move steel around the workplace, feeding the machine lines and loading/unloading vehicles for dispatch.

Duties of this Steel Operative role include;

• Working on the back end of a slitting line
• Banding up processed steel
• Using manual and air banders
• Operating overhead cranes to handle steel 
• Any other duties as and when required
• Machine operating 

You will be working a permanent afternoon shift pattern -

1:00pm – 10:00pm (Monday – Thursday), 36 hours per week

This Steel Operative role will be working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities available.

The role is paying £14.00 per hour on the afternoon shift, with weekly pay whilst on the agency.
