Job Advert: Operations Operative

Location: Winchester moving to Hook in the New Year.

Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 per annum

Equivalent pay rate: £14.03 - £14.93 whilst at The Best Connection (higher pay is achieved depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 4:00 pm

Role of an Operations Operative:

• Work in a fast-paced production environment assembling and testing LED lighting products.
• Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Prepare products for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Work with team members to ensure smooth production flow and continuous improvement.

Expectations of an Operations Operative:

• Experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing is an advantage but not essential as training is provided.
• You value teamwork and take ownership of shared goals.
• You're eager to learn, adaptable, and proactive.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of accuracy.
