The Best Connection are looking for a MIG Welders for one of our prestigious clients based in the Halesfield area.

The position may go permanent for the right candidate.

Pay: £13.50ph

About the role:

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 07:30 - 16:30
• Possible full time role for the right person.
• Candidates will be invited to the site to have a tour and a MIG weld test.
• Immediate starts available after passing a test
• The thickness of steel to be welded is between 1.5mm and 5mm
• Must be able to read drawings
• Must be able to fabricate to the drawing spec

Our client also deals with stainless steel and aluminium, so any TIG welding experience would be a benefit; but not essential.

Requirements:

• Competent in MIG Welding
• Be fully time served or qualified
• Experience with various thickness materials
• TIG Welding would be an advantage (but not essential)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Candidates must be able to work independently to the highest standards
• Maintenance of welding equipment
• Pay attention to detail and quality
• Possess the ability to multi-task
• Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed
