Our client based in Watford are currently recruiting for a mobile fitter to support operational needs at various sites. Company vehicle to and from home provided. 

Main duties will include:

• Travel to client’s site to inspect, service, and repair machinery.

• Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or pneumatic repairs.

• Routine maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns.

• Maintenance records of work carried out, parts used, and any further recommendations.

• Liaise with clients to explain faults, repairs, and provide advice on equipment.

Essential Requirement:

• Have own tools

• Hold Full UK driving licence and be over 25 years old, no more than 6 points ( Company Vehicle provided )

• Prior experience in Plant Maintenance

• ​Ability to work independently

• Great communication skills – both verbal and written

• Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Hours:

• Monday to Friday - 07:00am - 17:00pm - 50 hour week with 1 hour unpaid lunch per day 

Pay Rates:

• All hours worked - £17.09 per hour PAYE
