The Best Connection is looking to recruit a maintenance Engineer for one of our well established clients located in the Queensway Industrial Estate area.

This will be an ongoing position that will lead to a full time role for the right candidate.

You do not need to have any qualifitcations but if you are mechanically minded and have a keen interest in an engineering career, our client is willing to train you to do all aspects of the role and will also upskill you to gain the following tickets:

• Welding Qualifications
• Confined Space Ticket
• Overhead Crane Licence

The main responsibilites of the role will include but are not limted to:

• Servicing & maintenance of our moulding machines, expanders & plant.
• Dealing with mechanical breakdowns.
• Helping with the installation of new plant & machinery.
• Removal of redundant plant & machinery.
• Servicing & repair of tools & moulds.
• Some experience of welding would be great but not essential.

The shift pattern will be Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 rotating.
