The Best Connection Newport is currently recruiting for Machine Operators to join our client’s team in Croespenmaen. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals with experience in a factory environment to join a reputable company with potential for personal progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Packaging: You’ll be responsible for the inspection and packaging of various plastic goods, ensuring high standards are maintained.
• Concentration: A high level of concentration is required to ensure consistency and effective fault monitoring.
• Machine Operation: Depending on the requirements, you may be asked to operate machines on a semi-automatic basis. ⚙️
• Manual Handling: Duties include stacking pallets, wrapping, and moving pallets using pallet trolleys.
• Workstation Maintenance: General cleaning around your workstation to maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
• Solvent Use: Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings.
• Health and Safety Compliance: You’ll be responsible for adhering to the company’s health and safety policies at all times.
• Multiple Machine Operation: Once trained, you’ll be responsible for running more than one machine simultaneously.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience working in a factory environment or a similar role is essential.
• Transport: Due to the location, having your own transport is required. ​
