We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Steel Loader to join our warehouse and logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely loading and unloading steel materials, operating machinery, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.

• This is an excellent opportunity to upskill and gain new skills such as; crane operating and shunting. All candidates require a full UK driving license and be willing to partake in a drug and alcohol test.

£13.78 per hour plus excellent overtime rates

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload steel products (bars, plates, coils, beams, etc.) using forklifts, cranes, or other equipment.
• Inspect and verify materials before loading.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Secure loads properly for transportation.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the steel industry is advantageous 
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labour.
• Experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes (certification is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.
