HGV Class 1 Driver Needed!! 

The Best Connection are looking for a hardworking and dependable driver to fill a vacant position in Buxton and join us at one of the most highly respected recruitment agencies in the country!   

We are looking for a Class 1 driver who is available for a full time position working on a quarry. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work both nights and days. Each day consists of 3-4 runs from the quarry to be tipped. 

As our driver you will have a range of responsibilities which include:   

• Completing required safety checks to a high standard  
• Safely manoeuvring through a quarry 
• Safely transport stone and other building materials 

The ideal driver would display the following characteristics:  

• Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently   
• Excellent communication and customer services skills  
• Consistent, Reliable and Punctual   

We require all applicants to have the correct and up to date licenses ready for us to check upon reaching later application stages. This includes:  

• An up to date and valid CE license, CPC, and Digi card  
• Valid MPQC / Connect Card / Quarry Passport / EPIC Card
• Proof of Right to Work and National Insurance documents e.g. a Valid Passport or Birth Certificate  

Salary stands at £15.50 for days & £18 overtime and incredible £22.50 for nights!!
