The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with their client in Darlington. Our client is a global logistics company specialising in international express mail, freight forwarding, supply chain management, and parcel delivery service. They have a requirement for a night drivers to support them on an ad hoc basis with ongoing work available.

The role:

• Working a combination of Class 1 delivering and shunting
• Shunting carried out across clients sites, dropping/swapping and moving trailers on and off bays
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

The candidate:

• Valid and in date HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence, CPC & Digi Card
• Minimum age 25
• Maxiumum points 6
• 2 years commercial driving experience.

Hours of work:

• Start time is 18:00
