The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 1 / C+E, LGV Drivers for one of our key clients in Andover. It can consist of Pallets or Roll cages.

This is part time, but consistent work. Will consist of three days a week.

Rate of Pay:

• £18.00 per hour

Hours of work:

• ADHOC WORK
• This may lead to temp to perm

Responsibilities of the Class 1 Driver:

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle from Andover to various locations
• Load and unload of vehicle with use of roll cages
• Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.)
• Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.
• Interact with dispatchers and others daily to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Class 1 Driver:

• To be able to successfully pass a driving assessment and onsite induction
• Category C+E Licence.
• In Date CPC.
• In Date Tacho.
• Have Previous Experience in Class 1

The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C+E Licence, DIGI taco and CPC card.
