Calling all 7.5-Ton Drivers

The Best Connection are an employment business and are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced 7.5-ton driver for our client based in Wimbledon.

• Location: Wimbledon, London
• Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour 
• Overtime Rate: £19.50 per hour (applies after 8 hours)
• Job Type: Part time / Ongoing Contract
• Shift hours: 7 am to 5 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 7.5-ton vehicle, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues or maintenance needs.

Requirements:

• A valid 7.5-ton driving licence (C1 category) with no more than 6 points.
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience driving a 7.5-ton vehicle, ideally in multi-drop deliveries.
• Strong knowledge of London roads and surrounding areas.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
