The Best Connection are currently seeking HGV 7.5tn drivers for our prestigious client based in West Thurrock. Drivers will be required to deliver white goods to customers homes. A level of excellent customer facing skills will be required. Due to the nature of the role, heavy lifting will be required.

This is a Temp to Perm position.

Hours of Work:  

• Schedule: Monday to Friday - With occasional Saturday work 
• Start Times from: 5:45am - up to 10 hour days.

Pay rates: 

£15 per hour (PAYE). Overtime rates are also available at £22.50 per hour after working 8 hours.

Duties include:  

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle (Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience is essential).  
• Delivering White goods to customer's homes in and around the London and South East areas.  
• The role will involve heavy lifting due to the products that you will be delivering. Assistance will be given with a driver’s mate who will assist with both delivery and installation. 
• Up to 15 drops per day
• Providing exemplary customer service when coming face to face with customers.  

Skills and experience required:  

• Cat C1 Licence. 
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card with understanding of cards. 
• Good knowledge of London & Kent would be desirable.
