The Best Connection are working closely in partnership with our client to source additional Day Shift Class HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Licence Drivers to work from their Middlesbrough depot.

The roles can be ongoing as well as on an ad hoc basis.

The role:

• Safe operation of a class 2 vehicle  
• Use of a delivery App (training given)
• Some heavy lifting
• The work is multi-drop of around 10 - 20 deliveries per day across the country
• Deliveries to business and domestic customers

The candidate:

• "C" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements
• In date CPC and DIGI Card
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience
• Experience driving a Class C vehicle
• Excellent customer service skills
• A DBS check will be carried successful candidates

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday (weekend over time as required)
• 06.00am to 17.00pm (delivery dependent)

Pay Rates:

• £14.75 per hour (PAYE) for first 5 shifts per week
• £22.13 per hour after 5 shifts per week
