About the Role:

This is a multi-skilled, varied role that changes day-to-day depending on client demand. You’ll need to be confident with a range of Class 2 driving duties, including:

• Multi-drop pallet deliveries (Palletline)
• General haulage (both local and distance)
• Curtainsider work – standard bay deliveries and collections
• Flatbed deliveries – with correct load securing using straps
• Tail lift vehicle work – deliveries to commercial premises, tail lift operation required
• The role requires a well-rounded driver with good working knowledge across multiple sectors of the haulage industry.

Location & Working Pattern:

• Work will be split between Telford and Shrewsbury (location depends on the client’s daily requirements)
• Flexible shifts available – full-time, part-time, ad hoc, and weekend-only options
• Start times vary (usually AM starts), with shifts based on client schedules

Pay Rates:

• £13.20 – £13.50 per hour, depending on the client and type of work

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience in multi-drop, tail lift operation, curtainsider, and flatbed haulage
• Strong understanding of safe load securing practices
• A flexible, can-do attitude and professional approach
• Over 25 years old (for insurance purposes, where applicable)
