Our client is looking to recruit a Class 2  driver for their site based in Melton Mowbray. This role is delivering to their clients across the UK - with between 2 and 8 drops a day. Offering a pay rate of £15.00 per hour (£15.50 from 01.04.2025) This is an ongoing role and has an excellent opportunity for a permanent contract following a successful trial period.

Shunters Duties include:

• 0400-0600 Starts Mon-Fri
• Driving a Class 2 box vehicle 
• Loading of own vehicle before departure (with assistance)
• Wrapping and securing items
• 2-8 deliveries a day (9-11 hours average)
• Handball deliveries at clients premises (assisted)

In return you will receive

• £15 per hour for all hours worked
• A guarantee of 8 hours a shift minimum pay
• 28 days holiday pro-rata

Successful candidates must have

• Full valid LGV C entitlement
• At least one years’ experience in LGV C (for insurance purposes)
• No more than 3 points on licence (for insurance purposes)
• Valid Tacho and CPC
