The Best Connection Bedford are recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) driver for a distribution company based in MK42. Our Client is a nationwide distributor of all major insulation brands to the construction industry. The vehicles that you will be given are modern and well looked after. All vehicles are fitted with a tail lift to assist removing goods from the vehicle. May involve some minimal handballing. 

Working Hours

• Monday - Friday 07.00am start 
• Guaranteed 8 hours pay per shift
• Ongoing work

Requirements of a HGV Class 2 Driver 

• Good understanding of driver's hours regulations
• Good understanding of safety on the road and when loading and unloading 
• A polite and professional manner 
• Hold a UK Licence, CPC and DIGI tachograph cards
• Must be able to follow construction sites H&S code of practice
• No more than 6 points (No DD DR or IN)
• Must have the correct PPE - HI Vis and Safety Boots (can be provided)
• Ability to complete record sheets and paperwork accurately 
• Good customer service
• Newly passed Cat C drivers accepted

Pay rates

• Basic hours £15.00 per hour
• £22.50 after 8 hours
