LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a class 2 driver for our client in Darton. Working for a national based supplier of frozen foods. This is an ongoing role that will lead to permanent contract for the right driver.

Role

Full training is given, induction and side by side training with their driver to learn the role. Once you are comfortable you will then be allocated your own round. The work is all Cages work, not heavy lifting. Approx 6-8 drops per route. Delivering to stores based in Town Centres. You will be required to take the cage off with the tail lift then this will be taken into store by the store manager.

Start Times

Start Times are from 04:00 - 05:00 - generally get done within 9 -11hrs (the more you do the job the quicker you will get on your round)

Shift Pattern

You will be allocated a shift pattern. The working week is Monday to Saturday so on occasions will be required to work Saturdays with a rest day given through the week.

New passes welcome, Some experience an advantage but as long as you're committed and looking for ongoing work you'll be given an opportunity.
